About me

My name is Jonatan Pöljö. I'm a freelancing 3d artist / generalist with 15 years in the games industry, based in Stockholm, Sweden.
I specialize in 3d environments and props but very often step outside my usual role to take on tasks related to pixel art, game design, and programming.

I've worked in triple-a sized teams, tiny two man indie projects and everything inbetween. Finding out new effective ways to create good looking assets in smaller projects and timeframes is something I enjoy!

3d Modelling
Many years of both low and high polygon experience, sculpting and non destructive modelling.

Experience in pixelart, handpainted, modern shader-based texturing and photogrammetry.

Experience in creating pixelart for use in both 2d and 3d.

Technical Art
Experience in the technical side of game art. Setting up entities, scripting, shader work, animations, understanding of game engines, and how to optimize assets and asset-workflow.
